Just A Sip

Morning routine starts again. After dressing up ready to face the day, you decide to use  Clinton Street as you want to get your regular cup of Joe. Along the journey, your mind starts to organizing the list of things-to-do and imprint it hard so none will lost in the crumbs of thoughts.

Arrived at the café while being greet by the aroma of Arabica coffee, you look at the display chiller and decide to have a Crème brûlée one the go but then you realized that it is not a good idea. So asked the waiter to send your Italian café mocha and the Crème brûlée to the empty small table fit enough for two outside.

There you are while taking out the unfinished book that you have been reading for the past two weeks, The Promises, and ignoring the eternal world as you are exploring the serene of every words, every dialogue, every plot and enjoying the storyline.

A cup of hot coffee with a pastry and a book; nothing would be perfect than this.

A welcome to my new life

A month ago, I came to UiTM Shah Alam with the hope to do better and make myself more determine to pursue of what I love.

Since then, I started to learn new things, experienced new things and getting to know new people.

But then, the pressure life here does makes me think sometimes, “Did I make the right choice?”.

Hence, doubt is still spreading around me.

Thus, it did not make me fail to take this risk, take this chance and make a change.

Here, I present to you my newest family members from Bachelor of Mass Communication (Interpersonal), MC227 from the group of MC27S1A.

Most of these people come from different background and different part of the region which makes my class more interesting than the others.

I like this picture the most because this is the first shoot that I made for my photography class and the output was outstanding; it’s almost like the photo for a motorcycle commercial or something.

This picture was being took during the PWW (forgot what it’s standing for), one hell of tiring day and I like this because it’s from my newly-bought-phone Nokia 5800; I would post about it perhaps in later future.

I think this is the only thing for now; I‘ll keep you guys posted.

Recent life and events

Yeah yeah yeah. I know i haven’t updated this blog in a while.

Okay….in a long while. Sheesh, talking about promises to update regularly. I do not know what happen to me this semester. There’s to be seem a lacking of persuasion and discipline in me to do something that I meant to do.

Since I have my camera, I have been to multiple events to take some shots and recently, I’ve been ask to be the photographer for some previous and upcoming events.

There is no monetary transaction involved but they gave me certificate for my participation in the event. As a student who will graduate in one month time, it is crucial to me to get as many as cert as possible. I mean, I can’t depend on the debate cert only.

Here is one of my first shot from my Nikon D5000. Even you can say it looks nice but the fact is that I’m not a good photographer at all. During those previous events, I couldn’t create beautiful shots. Perhaps due to I’m still new at this, hence I have to read and practice a lot with those shoots.

Well, practise made perfect.

Last Saturday, I went to Semenggoh Wild Life Park and there, I took one of my first nature shoot; the Orang Utan.

One thing that I believe is that it is not the camera who take good pictures; it’s the person behind it.

I’m still learning of course and perhaps I’ll be getting good at this.

Drained out tapi banyak lagi obstacle kat hadapan

Minggu ni minggu exam. Semua student tengah struggle sekarang nih.

Well, thanks to the cuti of H1N1 and cuti seminggu raya tempoh hari, maka satu UiTM Malaysia tak ada study week.

I mean, apa salahnya pihak pentadbiran UiTM memendekkan cuti semester seminggu kurang untuk menampung study week. Memang pelik ah korang.

Selama 3 semester yang lepas aku dah experience study week, semester nih macam sial pulak. Dah lah aku nak target dekan sem ni, datang pulak menda lain.

Dahlah banyak assignment kena hantar, report kena tulis dalam masa satu hari ni nanti. Paling sedap paper Cost Accounting will be my first paper on Wednesday. Waktu pagi lagi!!!!

Nih baru jer course plantation, bukan lagi campur course-course yang susah gila babi tahap gaban. Silap haribulan, mungkin semester nih banyak orang yang akan repeat paper. Tapi aku akan pastikan I’ll be not into that group. Cukuplah dengan paper Physics ngan Ekonomi yang aku terpaksa bayar dengan peluh darah.

Pukul 2 petang ni pulak aku ada presentation tentang Major Crop. Satu benda belum siap tau! Jangan korang nak cakap kat aku tentang time management sebab aku memang manage time aku dengan sebaiknya. Cuma benda di luar kawalan dan segala hal-hal yang menyebabkan aku sibuk dan lari dari jadual perjalanan asal yang membuatkan aku rasa tension sekarang ni.

Dah lah, buang masa aku nak mengomel dan complaint banyak-banyak. Bukan ada benda aku dapat pun.

Aku perlu siapkan presentation nih sekarang!!!!!

Have a break

I’m sorry to you guys that I haven’t update my blog in about nearly 2 weeks. Blame the workloads and assignments that I need to done within those week.

Even for this time, I’m stealing a bit of my time to tell you what currently happening. Well, I got shitloads to tell you but then I need to save it for later (if I actually have the time to blogging).

I really miss my moment where I just can sit down while just enjoying a cup of hot coffee and surfing the net.

Wonder if that time will ever pass by again.

Trouble Is A Friend

Ever wonder why we are surround by the stuff that create the word "BUSY"?
Currently, that is the most hate word I ever want to heard from people and myself.
Due to that, I hardly have the time for myself and hardly have the time for my study despite the passion to upgrade myself in the academic lane.

It is quite weird on how sometimes I just sitting there, around somewhere and perhaps alone, within barely around five minutes there would be a people or a group of people that would approach me to seek my help because they have some sort of trouble either it's theoretically, technically or even academically.

It is not that I do not want to help them but there's MPP to help you plus the people who approach me are not juniors either. It is hard for me to say "no" since I'm not that typical guy which can deny people's request easily. I think I got it from my mum's blood.

I do still have my own problem to settle. For example, my course registration that I has not made yet since my credit hours already over exceed and my programme leader hasn't drop my economy subject. There is also the crisis of food allowance since UiTM is currently are being choosy for the people that they give it to.

Plus, the dedication of mine which want to settle down and do not involve in the Venusian arts attitude but somehow people around my circle aren't that confide in my to do it. Yet, I have to restrain all the force of seduction from the girls and let me tell you, it's hard for me as a boy.

For me, I have it every day due to the fact I enjoy my friends companion all the time. Never once I see them as a burden every time they are around.

Hana, Yaya, Zureen, Stifler, B.J, Paul, Swin, Bear Bear, Hafizzul and loads of my friends are my source of inner light. Without them, maybe I’ll have a busy day with a total boredom.

At least by having those, does not matter how busy am I; at least at the end there will be people who will wait for me; I can tell them matters that made my day.

Enjoyable moments are meant to be kept in our mind.

Every time we are depressed or in a down moment, only those memories that could help us to struggle our way through. Sometimes human tend to forgot those things because they are all occupied with matters which sometimes could mess up their life.

They need to be realizing the importance of getting your life to the fullest without neglecting the most important thing in their life. Stubborn as they are, they will listen to every word that we said to them only to found it is just temporarily.

Hence, during this stress moments; both for lecturers and students; try to find a moment in your life which you make you happy.

…….and the problem will faded away.

canteen to have my dinner

3.30 a.m – 10 a.m: Study early in the morning, finishing my assignments, onlining to read
the latest news, post to blog if there’s time to spare and yes, I only
sleep for three hours.
10 a.m – 12 p.m: CTU 211 class
12 p.m – 2 p.m: Public debate
2 p.m – 4 p.m: BEL 311 class
4 p.m – 6 p.m: Go to library to read newspapers and do research
6 p.m – 8 p.m: Go to the computer lab to do some “maintenance”
8 p.m – 10 p.m: Go to the Youth Floor to be with Kaka, Asma and Mem. Plus, being the
unofficial technician to people whom looking for me when their laptop
giving them a fuss while onlining
10 p.m – 11 p.m: Buy dinner at the stall behind Seri Mulu and replying people comments in
my Friendster and text which I don’t have the time to reply.
11 p.m – 1 p.m: Be at Seri Mulu 6319 room and have the lesson of the day
1 p.m: Sleep

Wednesday:

3.30 a.m – 10 a.m: Study early in the morning, finishing my assignments, onlining to read
the latest news. Plus, make a post to my blog. Then rush to ILQAM to get
the LCD projector.
10 a.m – 12 p.m: Soil Science AGR161 class
12 p.m – 2 p.m: Go for lunch with Yaya, Hana, B.J and Be’be’. Go to the library to read
newspapers by quick glance.
2 p.m – 4 p.m: Accountancy ACC100 class
4 p.m – 8 p.m: In the library doing research for tomorrow’s motion and finishing my
assessment
8 p.m – 10 p.m: Meet with Kaka, Asma, Mem and Jez at Youth Floor.
10 p.m – 11 p.m: Buy dinner and sleep (you’ll know why I go off to bed quite early)

Thursday

3.30 a.m – 8 a.m: Study early in the morning, finishing my assignments, onlining to read
the latest news.
8 a.m – 10 a.m: Accountancy ACC100 class
10 a.m – 12 p.m: BEL 311 class
12 p.m – 2 p.m: Lunch, print assessment, do extensive research, notify people about the
debate tonight, go to ILQAM to fetch the LCD projector again
2 p.m – 4 p.m: Science AGR161 class
4 p.m – 7 p.m: In the library doing some work, hang-out with friends, reading newspapers
7 p.m – 11 p.m: Debate training
11 p.m – 2 a.m: Be at Seri Mulu 6319 room and have the lesson of the day
2 a.m: Sleep

Friday

7 a.m – 12 p.m: Be at the DPIM’s farm
12 p.m – 1.30 p.m: Friday prayer, lunch
1.30 – 2 p.m: Wash the dirty clothes from the farm
2 p.m – 4 p.m: Sleep because I’ve been lacking in those
4.30 p.m: Went back home

See how busy I am in the campus from Monday to Friday. It doesn’t include the things that I have to do in the time interval; such as photostating, put up the notice for the debate in the entire campus, go to HEP to get the stamp for legal notice put up, formatting people’s laptop etc.

Please do not count Saturday and Sunday since this is the only time I can only go out and have a walk *The Spring* but mostly I just sit at home and take care of the house and my brothers & sister. In other words, being an unpaid amah for the weekend.

Two successes in a week

It has been a tiring week for me. I think all of you notice that especially to my friends and classmates. I barely have stuff for anything. Thanks to the busyness of me which led to having such a nice weekend. *I miss my old life in Part 1 which I have free time totally for anything*

Since the early of January, I already made my research on bananas. After almost a month of the research, I'm done with the points and structures. Hence, I want to give it to Giovannie which is my group mate. Apparently, you just can't trust Giovannie to do things. He didn't even bother to do anything. He just playing stupid, go out clubbing and flirt around with girls. He even didn't bother to ask me on the update of OUR research for OUR presentation. Heck, when I asked him to send me to Pustaka, he gave me the excuse of being sick on that day which unable him to send me. Now, where's the group contribution. He didn't do nothing and yet just send me to return the books, he can't do it. Then why on earth; the next day is V-Day; he can went out dating with Marcelle? Goddamnit!

I've spend 24-hours or more; without sleeping to finish up the presentation. Thank to his laziness I have to do it all by myself. Even 2 hours before the presentation is my BEL class, I had to escape and go to the library to finish it up. Thank you to Farah whom lent me her laptop just to finish up the presentation. When the time to present, apparently, during my absences from the BEL class, Giovannie and Farah had an argument because before that Giovannie was lurking searching for me. He phoned me, text me but I didn't answer due to the fact that he kept ignoring the presentation itself so why do I bother. He asked Farah about my whereabout; I told everyone where I'm headed to during the BEL class and to do not tell Giovannie about it; and she replied by saying, "Why bother?" and that's where the fight begun. I do apologize to Farah because of me, she fought with Giovannie.

During my presentation, Giovannie is like the parasite; he make the little presentation, well I make him to because I want to present the presentation all by myself. In other words, being dominant; he kept on leeching onto MY presentation which I made it all by MYSELF! But since I do it by my own effort, I do make sure that the quality is there although I do it in quite a hurry; mind you; I didn't go sleep for more than 24-hours. Anything could go wrong here.

So the presentation begun. I talked and explained briefly. When it's all over, my lecturer rose up and went to the front and said, "Now, this is the type of presentation that I want. Loads of features, examples and pictures. Rahman, if you do not mind, could you please give me the softcopy of your presentation?". I was like, peaking it my heart, "HE LOVES IT!!!!!".

So the hatred feeling towards Giovannie suddenly dispersed itself during that moment. Even for some of my friends said to me that it is a very good presentation. Just imagine if I do it all by myself. I could have the marks just for me and to only me. Hahaha....

Then at the same time, after I finished with my presentation I have to cope with The Debate club (TDC) brand management and events. Besides, I'm the Brand Manager of TDC since I'm so good at it. Well, I just start to learn about this field like 3 weeks ago. But at least I learn something outside of my field right? With the competitive market nowadays, you ought to have something which is more that you can offer. Ain't it?

Hence I make the kinda-look-high-class notice with the heading itself already made people think, " Wow, I love the label. Maybe I could spare some of my time for the debate". But apparently, (taking Stifler's quote) "Shits happened". See at The Elite Club and you'll get what I mean.

I booked Dewan Kuliah 1 (DK1) and filled in the form to use the ILQAM portable audio system. Then there was the rushing to complete the notice, brought it up to the Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) office to get the you-could-hung-this-notice-up stamp, photostating it and hung it up around UiTM. I make full utilize of all notice board and what its outcome? *drum rolling*

69 PEOPLE CAME!!!! 69 PEOPLE BABY!!!! I was so proud like hell but redundantly, I had my account test during the debate so i don't have the chance to see the outcome of my success. Hey, at least I know that I'd done such a brilliant work and I do have the touch in the brand management itself.

Plus, making me proud are when Stifler, Jew and Swinburne congratulate me for the good work that I did. And you know what? For the next debate, Swinburne has already given me the authority to set up the motion for the debate in the future. Mind you, Swinburne has also gave me the power to set up who're going to debate and the side that they will be. Either the government or the opposition. By fact, both Fikri and Jew already set me up as the future TDC president which I look in a terrified way because it'll make me busy and stuff. Huhuhu...*no time for girls*

So thats ladies and gentlemen, are the two things of my success throughout this week. I need to go now because the Seri Mulu Festival (SMF) are being held now and they need all of the blocks's AJK to meet the SMF's AJK. WTF, I need to go to Saberkas ASAP!!! Why now they're calling us!? Why not earlier than that!? Arghhh!!!!

P/S: I bumped into Hanim yesterday and I made the date at that time. Heck, she didn't even look that down anymore. I love her....more than anything else.
