Exam Is Here

4ad85e22ca5411e18cf91231380fd29b_7

Picture above is from my Instagram which I took last semester but the concept is there. The exam week has arrived and I am currently working my ass off. First paper was Corporate Public Relation and it has been done upon to my level of satisfaction. It is the killer paper for us this semester as the lecturer is quite strict with her marks; not to mention it is a 4 hours credit paper. Yes, 4 hours credit.

The next paper will be Event & Publicity Public Relation and Media Law paper which is a back-to-back paper. With the emotional breakdown I’m currently going through right now, I’m trying my best to be strong for this final exam. Definitely hard but I will survive.

Seeing my classmates making their notes while myself still lingering around does make oneself feel scare towards the potential odds. Better work my notes now.

Exam Result–Part 6 (July–November 2010)

I know it would be quite late to tell this since the exam’s result has been released about 15 days ago.

But personally, for me nothing is too late when it is comes to good news. Frankly speaking, it didn’t occur to me at all that I would achieve the result that I dream off.

Here, I’m gladly show you my final exam result below.

Finally ladies and gentlemen, I achieved Dean’s List for the first time! Perhaps it is not so much to some people but it meant so much for me.

This semester, I just did all my best along with the hope to score well for my final semester. Yet, the to achieve GPA of 3.5 I put it away aside because deep down in my heart I already lost my faith to obtain it.

But here it is; still in disbelieving and awe condition I am. Enough of the rackets, let us see and analyze through all the subjects that I have scored.

1. Agricultural Economics

Result : B+

Seriously, I thought I would flunk this paper since my carry mark is low and I didn’t perform well in the final paper. But somehow, Mr. Ghazali has helped to boost my mark that causes this subject to be my turn key point of obtaining Dean’s List.

Perhaps the economics paper was the least paper that I like since I failed the Principle of Economy back in part-3 which I retook this semester.

The calculation and the formulas really bugged my head but Alhamdulillah, I passed.

2. Agricultural Extension

Result : A

It was a surprise seeing Associate Professor Dr. Margaret Chan gave me an “A” for her paper. Mind you that she is one hard lecturer to please as you must do your assignment with quality and answer her paper according to your understanding by putting it into your own words. I think personally, this is the highest achievement I have with her since she taught me for 3 semesters for 3 different subject; Math and Research Methodology; which I obtained C and C+ respectively.

3. Land Survey

Result : A-

This is the subject that makes me look like a fool in class since I do not know a single thing about this particular subject. On the night before the final paper, I took my time to revised the textbook; which wrote by the lecturer himself; and finally understand the whole concept but it was too late; or else I would score an “A”.

4. Principles of Economics

Result : B

During my time in part-3, I failed this paper due to my brain couldn’t absorb anything that involves figures, formula and calculation; and it cost me failed this subject. So I rise up and took this paper for the second time so that I could redeem what has taken. I struggle enough for this subject and I’m really quite satisfy to get a “B” since I know I cut out from my flesh and blood just to achieve it.

5. Personnel Management

Result : A-

I’m a person who is strong at memorizing facts and therefore making this subject as my favourite. Not to mention the lecturer who taught this really lenient indeed. She told the class that she would accept any answer as long it is related to the concept. Another “A-“ from my own effort.

6. Agricultural Marketing

Result : A-

This subject was initially being taught by a lecturer who caused me to lost my Dean’s List chance back in part-4 but she was being replaced by a good lecturer. Although she was quite new to this subject but she make an effort herself to understand and deliver the topic to us. Thanks to her, I understand every single detail about this particular subject.

Overall, I obtained 3.54 GPA which eligible me to graduate with a 3.08 CGPA for my diploma. I didn’t see it coming and I owe it all to the lecturers who had taught me all this while.

Thank you all.

Every bit of memory

I’m sorry to you guys for ain’t updating this blog in a while. Blame the exam and the paperwork that I need to do throughout the entire week.

Right now, there’s lot of things which are currently being playing in my mind. Either you like it or not, I’ll try to express every issue that I want to say right now and trust me, it can be quite personal.

=================================================

All this while those three girls and I were the most closest people in the group that I called “The Elite Club”. We usually have our lunch together with the groups and even when we finished with our class, we would have our tea time together or if it is already late due to night class or even a debate training, we would conjured together for dinner at the canteen.

But it lasted until two semesters only.

It all change when one of them started to have a relationship. Quietly and slowly, she become more further away from us. I still remember her quote saying that '”..I appreciate my friends more than boyfriend (if I have one)..”. Although she’s still hanging out with us but it only happen in a few occasion. Three times in two weeks if I my calculation is right. So it only left two of them together with me.

Due to a certain academic issue, one of them have to back off from the tertiary education. I was like seems lost for a while since she is the most closest girl with me. It like you lost a twin. So there is just one left.

And recently, I officially lost her due to the fact that she also start to have a boyfriend plus the previous girl whom return to the tertiary education also got herself a boyfriend which makes me……seems gone.

I dated so many girls in the campus but yet, I can’t recall on ANY occasion that I actually left them out. When I think of it all over again, I NEVER DO IT!!! EVEN ONCE!!! So much of the words that they uttered few semesters ago.

People do and does change. Yes, I do realise that but if the change gave a negative effect to me, I wouldn’t accept it. I’m a man of my word and I kept others promise; every single word that came out from their mouth; I do took it seriously. But since all three of them eventually falls to their own world already, perhaps I’ll just be an observer. See the situation and their life from afar and if anything bad happening to them, I’ll be there.

Yes, you and they could say that I already have so much of girls around my life. It’s true, indeed. But the feeling being around them isn’t the same as being around with you guys. Did you ever realized that?

I don’t blame the first girl-friend because she tends to go home after having the class. Where as for the second girl-friend, she already got a new circle with her; BAD ONES whom always influenced her to do something stupid; even she try to deny the fact but it is obvious. As for the third-girlfriend, she’s right now along with her boyfriend, as I see is leading towards to the “social outcast” status.

Why do I said that? Both of them try to control each other by not letting any guy or girl approach each other. I mean, even the boyfriend told off one of their male friend who actually helping those two to become a couple.

Love tends to make people blind and it is now applicable to the second and third girl-friends.

=================================================

For The Elite Club circle, let us see our journey down the memory lane throughout the semesters before you guys hit to pursue your degree.

Warning: It may bring back some issue

=================================================

On a separate issue, my parents would not allow me to go to represent UiTM Sarawak in debate after the exam. They said it is not an academic issue for me thus is not important.

I said to them, “Well, do you expect me to sit at the house and babysit for this whole one month!? What do I gain? Nothing!!!”.

And my mum came up with what she thinks a solution. “Okay, I give you green light to go but don’t expect us to give you pocket money to go there…”.

And I was like……”What!?”.

I mean, there’s nothing is what I could a sense of pride in their voice of having a son represent his university in a tournament.

Why?

Because they think that having me as the only English speaker in the house tends to make me like an “Englishman-wannabe” and try to be in the category of trying to be an “up” person.

In their eyes, speaking English is just to pass the exam and other than that is just for showing off that you actually can speak English.

Luckily I already brainwash my siblings to accept English as a way of the communication in the house.

Yet, about the “no-pocket-money-if-I-go-debating-in-West-Malaysia” is still an issue from me. *Sigh*

The Result of The Result

What can I say? I didn’t perform well in the exam and cause me a lot of hell towards my pointer.
My GPA drop like hell and my CGPA is only barely enough for me to graduate from my course.

Looks like I have to struggle next semester. Well, not entirely. All I need to do is manage my time well and also study smart.

Loads of my friends are able to sustain their pointer above 3 and some of them are able to make it to the Dean List.

I’m so frustrated to myself and I vow to myself that I won’t involve in non-academic activities and reduce my involvement in debates because from my observation that is the main cause of my insignificant asides my inability to focus well on certain subject.

Besides, for next semester I already full utilized my 29 hours of my credit hours and I think that I will have a very tiring semester ahead.

All I need right now is your prayer and wishes upon my future success.

WEEEHUUU!!!! But….

Exam is all over but yet I’m not happy about it. Maybe to certain people you guys will be quite weird for my expression but the truth is; it is.

So far I have 3 papers at stake and with the result that may come out around June; I do feel really afraid indeed.

Why?

I already count; taking the probability of the worst, my CGPA will drop from above 3 to 1.89.

See my situation now?

So people, pray and cross your finger for me aite..

ONE down, FOUR to go!!!!

I started to study around 1.30 a.m for my CTU211 paper. Yes, I do realized that I had 12 days of free day to do my revision just for this subject. But taking my favourite quote;

"ONCE A MALAYSIAN, ALWAYS A MALAYSIAN"

Our last minutes attitude can't be change and I'm not in the exception list. I have to cover about four chapters CTU and it took me around 7 shoots of coffee to stay awake.

When the clock shows 6.oo a.m, I took my shower and get ready for the paper at 9.00 a.m. Yes, I know it is still early. Quite early indeed.

Then I start to refresh on what I've been memorizing at the same time having a butterfly in my stomach plus feel like to almost cry when I think I can't answer the CTU211 paper.

On 8.45 a.m sharp, I went to the examination room waiting for the invigilator to tell us to open the question paper.

Then
.
"OKAY CLASS. YOU MAY OPEN YOUR QUESTION PAPER NOW....."
.
.
.
.
.
.
I looked at the question paper and it has only five questions and I need to answer just three of them.
.
.
.
.
And I answered FOUR
*smile*
