How to get album art for iPhone, iPod & iPad

Some of the user of those device out there must be quite frustrated seeing other’s people songs in their own playing devices have an album art.

What is album art?

Album art is just like the cover image of the songs. Taking the example of a physical album which have a cover picture; that’s album art but it apply virtually since songs are in matrix and cloudless shape; either in mp3 format or mp4 or any other format which is known by the player.

Is it good or bad to have an album art?

Well, it depends on the user. Some user doesn’t mind if their songs have album art or not but for the users who obsessed with the singer/band or even a perfectionist; it is important.

So how to get album art for the songs?

There is two method which is manually and by using a software called TuneSleeve. Note that to ensure these methods are working, you need iTunes. For iPhone, iPod and iPad user, it would be hysterical if you guys doesn’t have iTunes installed in your computer.

First method is the manual way.

1. Open iTunes.

2. Search for the song which doesn’t have an album art on it.

3. At bottom left corner, there’s a small arrow icon, click it.

4. It will show an empty box which is meant for the album art.

5. Open up any internet browser and go to “images.google.com”.

6. Type in the keyword of the artist along with the name of the songs. It would help to find its own album art exclusively for the song itself.

7. After the images has appear, click any pictures that you think suit your taste.

8. Click “right-click” and choose copy.

9. Now return to iTunes and put your cursor to the empty box just now.

10. Click “right-click” and choose paste.

11. If it’s according to plan, it would turn out to be something like this;

Second method is the easiest way on how to get album art especially when you have thousands of songs in your laptop.

1. Go to www.download.com and search for TuneSleeve.

2. Download and install it in your computer.

3. By having an internet connection, you open up the TuneSleeve.

4.Just choose the name of the playlist or you can opt to search for all songs or a song by song (one-by-one) to find the album art. Need to be reminded that your IDTag of the songs such as Artist and Tittle are correct.

5. Let it running because it is searching the album art in the internet.

6. Afterwards, it is done.

Having either these method being done, just connect your device i.e iPhone, to the computer and just synchronize it with your iTUnes.

And there you go, a full album art for your songs in your iPod!

P/S: For other device such as Nokia 5800, they also can use iTunes to search the album art using those method. Then, just copy the songs directly from D (not from iTunes) to the destination folder in the phone. When you play your songs, the album art will reveal.
